Get ready to go birding by participating in the new Birds of a Feather program at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park’s new James Family Conservatory and Nature Center.
This is a program for birders of all ages and levels. We introduce a different birding topic each session to begin the program. When weather permits, we will head outdoors for a hike or time in the birding area. The program runs approximately 60-90 minutes and is offered on select Tuesdays at 9:30 am, on a monthly basis.
On April 9, the topic for this bird-related program for all ages will be Spring Migration and Beginner Birding. In April, learn basic birding skills and what to look for as the spring migration begins and discover when to find which birds and where!
This program is free but a park entry permit is required.
