Join us for a shotgun shooting workshop series for women, taught by women on July 9, 16, and 23 at Platte River State Park from 7 – 8 pm. This class will lead you through the basics of shotgun safety, handling and technique by shooting clay targets. At the conclusion of the three part workshop, women will be able to identify parts of their shotgun, how to properly clean it and how to efficiently break a clay target. Each week participants will improve their skills.
Firearms and safety items will be provided.
Participants may bring their own shotguns and ammunition that matches their gun.
Registration is required: Please email Julia Plugge at julia.plugge@nebraska.gov for registration instructions.
