Author Jeff O’Donnell at Fort Hartsuff

Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park presents an afternoon of history with author Jeff O’Donnell on Saturday, July 11.
Presentations:
1 p.m. – The North Brothers & The Pawnee Scouts
2:30 p.m. – Stories from “Amazing Tales of the Old West”, including “How William Thompson Lost his Scalp” and “Pinned Together with an Arrow: The Amazing Martin Brothers Story”
Jeff O’Donnell is the author of nine books about Nebraska including “Amazing Tales of the Old West”, “Blood on the Republican”, “Luther North, Frontier Scout” and “Starkweather: A Story of Mass Murder on the Great Plains”. He has appeared nationally on the Investigative Channel and Showtime. He also plays Buffalo Bill at the Burwell Rodeo. He is retired and lives in Hastings, Nebraska.
The historical buildings and gift shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Admission: $5 (ages 13 & up), $1 (ages 3-12), no charge for ages 2 & under.
A valid vehicle park entry permit is required.
