DUE TO PREDICTED THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE DAY, EVENTS AFTER 3:30 HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
So what is a bioblitz anyway?
A bioblitz can look several different ways, but essentially a bioblitz is an event where volunteers, community members, students, educators and plain ole nature nerds, work together to document as many wildlife species as we can, over a certain period of time at a specific geographical location.
Enjoy learning from Nebraska biologists and experts in their field while finding and identifying as many species of plants and animals as possible!
All materials needed for sessions will be provided. Be sure to dress according to the weather. Bring boots, hat, jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, etc.
Lunch will be provided. Dinner on your own. You are welcome to bring your dinner to eat at the park! Camp chairs are recommended.
