The Missouri River Outdoor Expo is the largest outdoor expo in the Midwest. Join us for two days of family-friendly outdoor activities, including wildlife encounters, fishing, kayaking, archery, camping skills, local entertainment, cooking demonstrations, contests, food and local goods vendors, craftsmanship demonstrations and much more!
– Paralympic archer and fixture of the Missouri River Outdoor Expo, Matt Stutzman, will put on a display of pistol shooting and precision archery at noon both days at the Eric Wiebe Shooting Complex. Stutzman is a four-time Paralympian, and won a gold medal for compound archery this summer at the Paris Paralympics.
– Discovery Channel travel show hosts Patrice and Kevin McCabe of RV There Yet? TV series will be setting up camp on Friday, Sept. 20 for a full weekend of Expo fun! They will be available for a meet-and-greet both days on the riverfront from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
– Stop by the new Outdoor Cooking Trailer at the expo! Guests can watch outdoor cooking demonstrations and sample delicious, freshly-cooked food.
– The Nebraska National Guard will be flying in a Chinook Helicopter and Blackhawk helicopter on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
– Bob’s Bar Burger Eating Contest: Expo guests 16 or older can compete in the ultimate food eating contest at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the main tent. The quickest to devour Bob’s famous 11 oz burger, mountain of fries, and a jumbo-sized drink wins a two night stay at a Ponca State Park mini-lodge. Don’t wait — there are only 12 spots!
