Join us on October 14th, 2023 from 6:30-9:30 PM at Prairie Pines as we celebrate our transition into Fall. There is so much to discover from dusk to nightfall as the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer. We will have a wide array of activities going on throughout the evening so there is sure to be something for everyone!
*This free event requires registration and will be capped at the first 200 participants. ****Registration is currently closed. Please check back closer to the event as we may reopen pending cancellations.
Activities will be scattered around the Prairie Pines property (3100 N. 112th Lincoln, NE 68527), there will be plenty of maps and signs to help guide you. Below is a lineup for the evening:
Live Reptiles & Amphibians- 6:30-9:30 PM
Dusk to Nightfall Hikes- 6:30-9:30 PM
Moth Lighting- 8:00-9:30 PM
Bat Mist Netting- 8:00-9:30 PM
Star Gazing- 8:00-9:30 PM

We recommend checking the weather before heading out as it may get chilly throughout the evening. If you wish to star gaze, please consider bringing your own blanket or mat as we have a limited supply. DIY Bat house supplies will be available on a first come first serve basis. One per household.
