This female-focused course is a fun and educational setting for students who would like to earn their hunter education certificates for both Firearm and Bowhunter. The course will be taught by exciting, dedicated instructors who are eager to share their knowledge and passion about hunting, safety, and ethics in the field. Participants must be at least 11 years old to earn their certificate. Students under 19 years of age should be accompanied by a parent/guardian to the first session; parents/guardians have the option to sit in on the class, but it is not required.
The women’s focused Hunter Education Class provides an opportunity for moms, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, and friends to get together and learn more about an activity that is not only fun, but a great way to enjoy the outdoors and become a part of Nebraska’s conservation heritage. Participants will leave the course with basic knowledge, skills, and hopefully the confidence to move forward as a safe and ethical hunter and recreational shooter. This class will spend time on the indoor shooting ranges with exceptional instructors, offering plenty of hands-on opportunities with class-provided equipment. Bring a friend or family member to share the experience!
