Join us on October 21 for Trick-or-Treating and a Haunted Trail!
Campers in the area are encouraged to decorate their campers / campsites. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated. Campers are encourage to hand out treats to the trick or treaters. The trick and treating at the campsites is free to the public. Traffic in the campground will be shut down in the campsite areas from 6:30 pm to 10:00pm so trick or treating for the kids will be traffic free.
There will be a haunted trail this year and an admission fee of $5.00 will be charged for person 3 years and older. Children under 3 years old are free. We will only be accepting cash or check. Tickets for the haunted trail will be sold starting September 15th and are only available at the Branched Oak Park Office, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There are no refunds if the haunted trail has to be canceled due to weather conditions. There are only 500 tickets available for this one night event. Once we are sold out the will not be any more available. The haunted trail will located at the east end of Area #1 and start at 7:00pm and run to roughly 10:00pm. The haunted trail is a walk through trail and is roughly 1000′ long and goes through hilly terrain through a wooded area. Parking for the event will be in Area #1 with overflow parking in Area #14 where hayracks will transport the public into the park using the existing hiking trails. No parking will be allowed on the county roads.
In the event of rain there will not be a date to reschedule the event.
