Have Fun at Ponca State Park!

9:30-11:30 am Beginners Fishing Clinic — Tying knots, safety concerns, fish ID, casting, and other hands-on demonstrations will be presented. All equipment and bait will be provided. Meet at the Resource & Education Center. Free.

1:00 pm Feeding Frenzy — Have you ever wondered how a frog eats or how a snake can swallow a mouse larger than his body cavity? Join a naturalist as we feed the animals in the Resource and Education Center. Be prepared to touch worms and crickets in this program. Meet in the Resource and Center. Free.

2:30 pm Wildflower and Mushroom Hike Forest wildflowers are in full bloom at Ponca State Park. Learn to identify these beautiful flowers along the trail and search for mushrooms. Morals are edible mushrooms whose growing season is mid-April to mid-June. These mushrooms have been found in the park by visitors who have keen eyes. Feel free to bring your camera. Meet at Towers of Time. Free.
