Join us at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park for a one mile Prairie Grass Hike on May 6th, July 15th, and September 16th.
We will meet at the large shelter in the day use picnic area. We will leave the shelter and circle the historic trail ruts using our maintained trails. We hope to give hikers a mind set of the 1860’s traveler walking their dreams during western expansion.
Hikers are encouraged to bring cameras and water for the walk.
After the hike, you can enjoy the grounds and maybe have a picnic lunch in the park.
A Park Entry Permit is required.
