April 14, 2018 at 10:00am MDT- Powerful Pollinators!

Search for pollinators of the Wildcat Hills in our new pollinator garden. Learn about their amazing adaptations and interesting life cycles!  Learn about the importance of pollinators which experts say are responsible in the creation of one-third of the food humans eat.  They provide many other benefits to ecosystems and natural resources.  The event will feature a presentation and children’s activities.  Attendees will also learn to create pollinator habitat and will construct houses for bees that they can take home.

For more information about these events or to register (when applicable), contact the Nature Center at 308-436-3777 or

Staff reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to unforeseen circumstances.

A valid 2018 Nebraska State Park permit is required.
