Have Fun at Ponca State Park at Marsh Madness!
7:00 am Sunrise Bird Tour— Get up before the birds! Join an expert guide from the Loess Hills Audubon Society to watch waterfowl wake-up and continue their migration. Twenty-two different species of waterfowl have been viewed from our blinds. Make sure to bundle up for this program and feel free to bring your binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras. Space is limited. Please pre-register by calling (402) 755-2284. Meet inside of the Resource and Education Center. Free.
7:00 pm– Sunset Bird Tour— Watch the birds return to the safety of the marsh at dusk. A guide from the Loess Hill Audubon Society will take accompany you to our bird blinds. Binoculars, spotting scopes, and bird books will be available on the tour. Space is limited. Please pre-register by calling (402) 755-2284. Meet in front of the Resource and Education Center. Free.
This weekend there will be a 20% discount on all bird and star merchandise and a 30% discount on mini-lodges.
A Park Entry Permit is required.
