9:30 am Winter Hike — Join us for a winter hike as we explore the backwater of the Missouri River. We will be learning how to identify tracks and trees. Snow shoes are available. Meet by the white van at the head of the Backwater Trail. Free.

11:00 am Let’s Get Tracking — Hang out with a naturalist as we discover the shapes and patterns animals leave in the snow. Then we’ll get busy making our own wacky tracks! Each participant will design and take home their own unique pair of attachable tracks. Preregister and meet at the Resource & Education Center. Limit of 30 participants. Free.

1:30– 3:30 pm Ice Fishing Clinic — Fish stay active all winter long under the ice. Come learn how to catch and clean a rainbow trout. All equipment and bait will be provided. Anyone 16 years old and older will need a fishing license. Meet at the Pond near the Resource and Education Center. Free.
