Christmas Bird Count for Kids

January 3, 2020 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Schramm Education Center
21502 W Hwy 31

Want an opportunity to get your family outdoors over the holidays? Would you like to contribute to science? Join our Christmas Bird Count for Kids event at Schramm Education Center! Learn more about the birds that call Schramm home during the winter while participating in the longest running community science project in the country! Schramm Education Center staff will lead you and your family on bird walks and bird feeder watches, help tally our results, and share them with the annual Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count Project!

We will be going out rain, snow or sunshine, so dress prepared for the weather! We’ll provide a limited amount of binoculars, you’re encouraged to bring yours if you have them.
