Spend a morning with the birds at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park’s Birds at the Fort event on June 4th.
You are invited to a morning with the birds. At this FREE event you will receive hands-on instruction on how to ID common birds of the area and how to choose and use binoculars. Then, hike around the fort using your new birding skills with the aid of practiced birder Amy Hughes. Back at the barracks everyone will make a recycled bottle bird feeder to attract birds to your own back yard. The morning will wrap-up with a LIVE Raptors of Nebraska presentation from Nebraska’s very own Raptor Recovery. Don’t miss this family friendly event inspired to celebrate International Migratory Bird Month.
