In celebration of the International Migratory Bird Month of May, Platte River State Park presents Birding in the Park May 7th and 22nd 8:30am-11:30am.
Platte River State Park will be hosting guided bird watching tours and other educational opportunities of species inhabiting the area. The park offers a variety of species, including: Eagles, Herons, Warblers, Tanagers, Turkeys, and Eastern Bluebirds! All ages welcome.
We encourage visitors to bring binoculars, filed guides, hats, sunscreen, water, and any other birding and hiking supplies they may have. However, we will have a limited supply of binoculars, field guides, and bird song identifiers provided.
A Park Entry Permit is required.
