Beyond BOW Ladies Day at the Range @ Weeping Water Gun Club

For any woman who wants to learn how to shoot and increase their knowledge of rifles, handguns, shotguns and archery equipment. Meet other like-minded women who shoot, are novices or just want to have fun.
Location: 3590 Scenic Dr. Weeping Water
Fee: $45 registration fee

Age Requirements: Women 18 & older
To Bring:
     • All equipment, ammunition and ear/ear protection
is provided
     • You must bring your own ammunition if you bring
your personal equipment.

Introduction to Shooting @ Platte River State Park

Bring the whole family* to the range this summer and learn to shoot. This class is intended for those new and novice shooters wanting to shoot in a family friendly educational facility. Participants will learn from experienced instructors on how to shoot safely and accurately. Firearms, archery equipment and safety gear will be provided.

Location: Outdoor Heritage Education Complex (OHEC)
at Platte River State Park
When: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• August 1 Rifles & Muzzleloaders
• August 8 Archery
• August 15 Shotgun
Fee: $15 per person per session
Age Requirement: 10 years & older
Other Information:

• Limited to the first 15 registrations per event (registration required)
• 2018 Park permit required
• Cancellation prior to one week may be refunded.

Learn to Hunt – Dove @ Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center

Dove hunting offers some of the fastest shooting of the entire fall. This FREE workshop covers opportunities for hunting this sporty bird, hunting strategies, equipment and more. Designed to improve confidence and expand knowledge for those with little to no experience, this workshop is open to anyone interested in becoming more successful at dove hunting.

Students will gain hands-on experience with modern bowhunting equipment and firearms (.22 caliber provided) in our indoor ranges.

Post-camp mentored hunting experiences offered for graduates of this camp.

Drop-off is no earlier than 15 minutes before camp and pick-up is no later than 15 minutes after. No extended hours are offered for this camp.
