Archery 2 Compound – JOAD @ Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center
Jun 14 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Our Center Shot Archery Academy intermediate level class is open to students who have previously been enrolled at the intermediate level OR have achieved the listed prerequisites.

Lessons will focus on the form, equipment, and attitude needed to shoot a compound bow in hunting, recreational, and competitive settings. Each session includes a short lesson and coaching while students are on the line. Students will receive their own copy of the National Training System (NTS) shot cycle, a stretch band, a string bow, and a finger sling.

Ages 8 and over.

Prerequisites:
– Name at least four steps of the NTS Shot Cycle
– Earn at least 4 pins (white pin) in any discipline
– Personal compound equipment is required (equipment should be fitted to the individual in terms of draw weight and length before the first class)

Learn to Hunt Camp @ Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center

Students will learn the fundamentals of safe and successful hunting, including hunting techniques, firearm handling and marksmanship, species identification, tree stand safety, and conservation principles. Students will gain hands-on experience with modern bowhunting equipment and firearms (.22 caliber provided) in our indoor ranges.

Post-camp mentored hunting experiences offered for graduates of this camp.

Drop-off is no earlier than 15 minutes before camp and pick-up is no later than 15 minutes after. No extended hours are offered for this camp.
