This USA Archery program runs quarter to quarter – the beginner class is open to students who are new to JOAD or have only completed one quarter. Explore Archery is a recommended prerequisite but not required.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a minimum of 10 weeks. The course includes achievement awards, skill training, and games with focus on guiding each student in improvement at their own pace. Each session includes a short lesson and coaching while students are on the line.
No equipment required, but personal equipment is allowed for some portions of the class. Students should wear close-toed shoes only.
If seats are listed as available, students may register & join the class at any time except the last 4 weeks of the quarter. Allowances may be made at the discretion of the instructor. Full price still applies.

Our Center Shot Archery Academy course includes achievement awards, skill training, and games with a focus on guiding each student in improvement at their own pace. Each session includes a short lesson and coaching while students are on the line. Archery 1 students have the opportunity to shoot for their green and purple pins during select class sessions. Over the course of the quarter, students will advance their scoring skills, learn about competition etiquette, and work to achieve the pins and techniques needed to advance to the next level.
No equipment is required, but personal equipment is allowed for some portions of the class.

Our Center Shot Archery Academy intermediate level class is open to students who have previously been enrolled at the intermediate level OR have achieved the listed prerequisites.
Lessons will focus on the form, equipment, and attitude needed to shoot a bow in recreational and competitive settings. Each session includes a short lesson and coaching while students are on the line. Students will receive their own copy of the National Training System (NTS) shot cycle, a stretch band, a string bow, and a finger sling.
No personal equipment is required, but should start to be considered.
Ages 8 and over.
Prerequisites:
– Name at least four steps of the NTS Shot Cycle
– Earn at least 4 pins (white pin) in any discipline
The team is open to students that have previously been enrolled at the team level OR have achieved the listed prerequisites.
Center Shot Archery Academy team members are focused on competing in their chosen sport and taking their abilities to the next level ? locally and nationally. Team members have amazing opportunities as they travel, meet archers from other teams, and test their skills with various styles of tournaments. Parents/students must fill out an understanding of commitment form. Personal coaching and additional educational opportunities mean that students keep growing in proportion to the work they put in.
Ages 8 and over.

– Archery 3
– Name at least seven steps of the NTS Shot Cycle
– Earn at least 5 pins (black pin) in any discipline
– Personal equipment
– Committed to compete
– 8 Local tournaments
– 1 regional or national tournament

Lessons will focus on the form, equipment, and attitude needed to shoot a compound bow in hunting, recreational, and competitive settings. Each session includes a short lesson and coaching while students are on the line. Students will receive their own copy of the National Training System (NTS) shot cycle, a stretch band, a string bow, and a finger sling.

– Name at least four steps of the NTS Shot Cycle
– Earn at least 4 pins (white pin) in any discipline
– Personal compound equipment is required (equipment should be fitted to the individual in terms of draw weight and length before the first class)
