Just because you are picking up your homework again this fall doesn’t mean you have to put down your bow. Join us for NASP league and you can practice every week… for prizes!

If you were a member of a public, private, parochial, or homeschool club during the 2017-2018 school year, sign up for this league and compete from September to November.

Haven’t been a member of an existing program? You can still join by first getting up to speed with our one-session Introduction to NASP class September 11 3:30-4:30 p.m. – sign up at https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/127858.

$45/participant.

Make up rounds may be completed PRIOR to the missed week.

This FREE workshop covers an overview of everything you wanted to know about hunting in Nebraska. This class is designed to improve confidence and expand knowledge for those with little to no hunting experience.

Applejack Festival at Arbor Lodge @ Arbor Lodge State Historical Park

Join us for the Applejack Festival September 22-23 at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park!

  • Saturday – Tandy Leather – Leathercrafting demonstrations
  • Sunday – Windy River Dulcimers (11 a.m.-5 p.m.)
  • Sunday – Model A Car Display – Cornhusker Model A Club  (10 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Arbor Lodge Hours of Operation: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. both days.

NRA Range Safety Officer Training @ Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center
Sep 22 @ 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

The Range Safety Officer (RSO) course content consists of RSO’s roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.

To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

Learn to Hunt – Predator @ YMCA of the Prairie
Sep 22 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Predator calling is one of the most exciting hunts. Come to learn about the many techniques used to hunt these elusive creatures. This workshop will focus on coyote, bobcat, fox and raccoon hunting. Participants will learn how to use game calls, scout for success, critter biology and much more.

Workshop will be taught by Troy Hornaman (NWTF) | Cost: $10 per adult and $5 per child.
