Thursdays in March, ladies can attend an evening archery series. Each week will feature a lesson and time on the archery range practicing with a bow.
The sessions will be taught at an indoor archery facility and space is limited to 20 people per week.
Choose from an intro or intermediate session level, depending on your comfort with the material.
Lessons are scheduled 6:30-8 pm.
$40/participant, ages 16+
All equipment is provided, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring it.
Learning how to prepare for adventures (expected or unexpected) without modern conveniences is a worthy challenge. This class will show you a few essential skills that can come in handy when something doesn’t go according to plan, or if you are looking to add a little “wild” to your next camping trip.
Techniques covered in this class come in handy for single day outdoor trips, more extended hiking excursions, and travel emergencies.
Topics covered include essential tool kits, fire building, water resources, nutrition, hypothermia, and basic first aid supplies. Each student will receive a basic survival kit.
Portions of the class may take place outside, please dress for the weather. No prior experience needed! Instructed by Ross Young. $10/participant.
So you have harvested a turkey. Now you need to know how to prepare it for the table and make fan display!
This workshop will walk you through the steps of cleaning and removing the meat from a wild turkey. Class will also cover how to display a gobbler’s tail and beard. Learn helpful ideas for cooking wild turkey easier than you imagined, and lead to better tasting meals!
First 10 registered will receive a free game cleaning knife set sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
