Wild Game Processing Workshop @ UNL East Campus - Animal Science Complex

Join us at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Animal Science facility, where we will learn how to process wild game. Attendees will get the opportunity to learn how to process a deer and learn some tips and tricks that can make the experience easier. Ladies Day on the Range @ Ponca State Park

Ladies, if you know the basics of using a firearm but would like to strengthen your confidence level, Ponca State Park is hosting a Ladies Day on the Range, Saturday, September 29th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

One to One instruction will be provided on each range to assist you on improving your accuracy and confidence in archery, .22s, shotgun and muzzloaders.

We ask that you do not bring your personal firearms; everything will be provided.

The fee to attend Ladies Day on the Range is $30 including lunch.

You must be 18 years old.

Living History @ Arbor Lodge State Historical Park
Sep 29 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Step back in time to see historic trades, talents, and other demonstrations come alive inside the mansion and out on the beautiful grounds of Nebraska City’s National Historic Landmark. Living History Weekends will be held each weekend September 28–October 29. Mansion admission is $8 adults, $6 youth (age 3-12). Entrance to the park is free. For more information, please call the mansion at 402-873-7222.

Table Creek Rendezvous – Journey back in time as mountain men and women return to Arbor Lodge for a weekend of blacksmithing, butter churning, breadmaking, tomahawk throwing, ropemaking, and Native beadworking.
