This class will show you a few essential skills that can come in handy when something doesn’t go according to plan, or if you are looking to add a little “wild” to your next camping trip.
Techniques covered in this class come in handy for single day outdoor trips, more extended hiking excursions, and travel emergencies.
Topics covered include essential tool kits, fire building, water resources, nutrition, hypothermia, and basic first aid supplies. Each student will receive a basic survival kit.
Portions of the class may take place outside, please dress for the weather. No prior experience needed! Instructed by Ross Young. $10/participant.
